Our Story

Built by an artist.
For artists.

Remixr isn't a corporation with a music division. It's a platform that started with one person, one problem, and a belief that independent artists deserve better.

Dino Founder & Developer, Remixr

Hey, I'm the person behind Remixr.

I'm a 24-year-old founder and developer from the Garden State. Music is a huge part of my life — my taste runs from 90s alternative to modern R&B. I also play guitar and ukulele and love messing around with music production.

Why existing platforms weren't enough.

As someone who experimented with music production, I kept running into the same wall: there was no real way to connect with your audience through your music. You could put a track on Spotify or Apple Music, but those platforms aren't built for conversation — they're built for consumption. Music has never been more accessible to create, and somehow harder than ever to be heard. Streaming platforms surface the same artists. Social media rewards whoever already has an audience. And somewhere in between, millions of independent artists are releasing music that deserves to be heard, into a feed that was never designed to find it.

I built Remixr because I felt that gap personally. As a hobbyist producer, I wasn't looking for fame — I was looking for a community. People who actually want to find new music, talk about it, and be part of an artist's journey before the rest of the world catches on. Remixr is built for that. For the artists creating in their bedroom at midnight, and for the listeners who still get excited about discovering something new first. This is a platform where being early matters. Where listeners aren't just consumers — they're community.

The moment I decided to build Remixr.

In college, my suitemates and I started throwing around ideas for a community platform unlike anything out there. Before Remixr, we had a concept called Lounge — something built on real connection, not the performative side of modern social media. That brainstorming session was the spark that started everything.

From that night, I threw myself into learning how to build it. I enrolled in coding classes, kept the conversations going with my suitemates, and started laying the groundwork for what Remixr would become.

What Remixr stands for.

There's a difference between a platform that tolerates artists and one that's built around them. Here's what we believe.

🎤

Artists first, always

Every product decision starts with the same question: does this make life better for the artist? Not the algorithm. Not the advertiser. The artist.

🌱

Small artists matter

You don't need 100,000 followers to deserve a real platform. Remixr is built for the artist with 12 followers and something real to say.

🔓

Discovery shouldn't be pay-to-play

Your music should be heard because it's good — not because you ran an ad. We're building discovery tools that surface talent, not budgets.

🤝

Community over clout

The best thing about music is sharing it. Remixr is designed around genuine connection — between artists, between fans, between scenes.

Where we're going.

I want to help reshape the music industry — one where distribution hurdles and licensing don't hold back creativity, where artists can showcase their full potential, and where listeners form real emotional connections with the music they discover.

If you're a fan, an artist, or just someone who believes music deserves better — join us. This is your chance to be part of something before it's everywhere.
